Atom Smasher, also known as Albert Rothstein, is a DC Comics superhero with the ability to alter his size and density. He first appeared in All-Star Squadron #25 (September 1983).

The grandson of the villain Cyclotron, Rothstein inherited his powers from his grandfather. He possesses the ability to grow to enormous sizes, increasing his strength and durability proportionally. As Atom Smasher, he initially fought alongside the All-Star Squadron and later became a prominent member of the Justice Society of America.

Atom Smasher's has a strong sense of justice, often bordering on extremism, has led him to make controversial decisions, including allying with Black Adam. Despite his flaws, Atom Smasher is ultimately a hero who strives to do what he believes is right, even if it means crossing moral boundaries.
